This award will recognize outstanding journalistic works promoting the integrity and transparency of the stock market, as well as protecting the interests of investors, values guiding the actions of the CNMV and which it fully encourages.
The prize, with an endowment of 15,000 euros, will be awarded annually to a single category and may be granted ex aequo to several works. Any journalistic work published in the Spanish mediabetween the 1st of January and the 31st of December ofthe corresponding year, in any of the official languages, may be awarded.
The criteria for awarding this prize will be the accuracy and technical quality of the work, the degree of transparencyin its promotion in the stock market and in the protection of investors’ interests, as well as the contribution of the work to financial literacy.
The works will be selected by the CNMV’s Communications Office, on its own initiative or at the proposal of any person or entity and the decision will be made public in the second half of January of every year.

VII Edition of the Antonio Moreno Espejo Journalism Award (2023)
Resolution adopted on 13 November 2023 by the Chairman of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission, announcing the call for the sixth edition of the Antonio Moreno Espejo Journalism Award, to reward journalistic works that have stood out for promoting the integrity and transparency of the securities market and the protection of investors’ interests.
